International Field Specialist CEERI Region

Role location – Vienna, Austria. Belgium, France, Spain may be considered

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team as International Field Specialist for CEERI region covering primarily our Breast and Skeletal Health medical imaging equipment. In this role you will be a Hologic Service Ambassador among Hologic’s Service Partners & Distributors being internationally recognized as the solution owner. 

We're looking for people who have proven engineering experience ideally with a medical device background in Breast and Skeletal Health medical imaging instruments, who are happy to be in the field extensively travelling within entire CEERI region to support our customers, distributors and service providers and who love troubleshooting and finding solutions. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide best in class service support & direction to Hologic Distributors and Service Providers on the existing BSH (Breast and Skeletal Health) Hologic procedures and technical documentation enhancing excellent customer satisfaction
  • Be the go-to person for Hologic’s Distributors and Service Providers and recognized as the solution owner
  • Identify Field Service needs and product knowledge gaps developing on-the-job trainings to dealers FSEs on all aspects of instrument repairs, customer satisfaction, advanced troubleshooting and installations 
  • Install instruments at customer sites
  • Work collaboratively with the group of Technical Field Service, R&D and Commercial stakeholders and support functions to find solutions to both technical and business issues

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated Technical proficiency servicing BSH (Breast and Skeletal Health) instruments in the field combined with a solid knowledge of corporate related processes and disciplines
  • Understanding of general Service KPI’s to assess distributors and guide them towards best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Experience working in similar/comparable customer-based or laboratory environment
  • Effective Time Management Skills
  • Ability to accurately diagnose issues as described over the phone by Field Service Engineers/customers
  • Proficient use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
