Project Specialist

We are seeking for a highly motivated, detail oriented and dynamic Project Coordinator to join our team in the medical device industry! In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating various PMO activities, working closely with the PMO leadership and the Global Supply Chain senior leadership team. This individual will play a pivotal role with high visibility to the GSC RAQA leadership teams in coordinating activities across multiple businesses, supporting the creation of dashboards for various levels of management, and becoming the go-to expert for the Planview project management software. The Project Specialist will manage the PMO SharePoint site, support project managers, and work with a proactive and can-do attitude. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with diverse teams, and is eager to grow into a project management role.

Key Responsibilities:

PMO Coordination: 

Assist in managing and coordinating key project activities, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.

Work closely with project managers across the businesses to support project planning, execution, and tracking.

Portfolio Dashboards: 

Develop and maintain dashboards for various levels of management to provide clear and concise project status updates.

Utilize data visualization tools to present project metrics and key performance indicators.

Planview Pro Expertise:

Serve as the primary point of contact for Planview project management software.

Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of Planview.

SharePoint Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for Planview project management software.

Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of Planview.

Manage the PMO SharePoint site, ensuring it is up-to-date and organized.

Facilitate the sharing of project documents and resources through SharePoint.

Leadership Meetings: Coordinate leadership status meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-up on outstanding tasks.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.

Prepare and distribute regular project status reports and updates.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting communication and ensuring smooth workflow between diverse geographical locations.

Tools & Platforms: Utilize tools like Planview Pro and SharePoint sites to manage project data and track progress.

Requirements:

The position requires full-time, onsite presence at our Marlborough, MA campus, Monday through Friday.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field

Experience: 1-2 years of project management, particularly in the medical device industry, is highly desirable. 

Skills: Experience with Planview Pro and SharePoint, and a keen ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other project management tools

Attitude: A "can-do" attitude, with the ability to adapt and collaborate well with teams from different backgrounds and locations.

Strong Organizational and presentation skills and attention to detail.

Location: This is an on-site role with the expectation to work closely with the leadership teams.

Bonus: PMP certification is optional but a plus.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $63,200 to $98,700 and is bonus eligible.  Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
